Choosing a pair of classic men's shoes means wanting to wear true Made in Italy to enjoy all the craftsmanship experience that created that specific model. 

There are two types of classic men's shoes: lace-ups and moccasins. Lace-ups are further divided into Oxfords and derbies.

The Oxford shoe, thanks to its refined and impeccable style, is by far the most widespread formal model. Its peculiarity lies in the quarter (the two parts where the eyelets are located, the holes for the laces) which is sewn under the vamp, overlapping it.

The quarter of derby shoes, on the other hand, is sewn on top of the vamp, so the flaps wrap around the instep and can separate along their entire length. Derbies are especially suitable for those with wide feet and a high instep.

Moccasins are extremely comfortable shoes, laceless, and slipped on quickly and strictly without socks. The first to wear them were the Native Americans who, followed later by Norwegian sailors, rolled a piece of leather around the sole and sewed another flap of fabric on the instep to increase warmth. It didn't take long before this classic shoe spread throughout Europe.
